Food & drink
Whether you're at the Sachsenring racetrack itself, or in an exclusive restaurant in Chemnitz or Zwickau, great food is never far away here. The "Drei Schwäne" restaurant brings a hint of the Provence to Zwickau, while three floors of fine dining await at Villa Esche in Chemnitz. Beierleins Cafeteria & Boxenstop
Refuel at this trackside establishment, where the choice ranges from snacks and sandwiches to lavish cold or warm buffets. They'll even spitroast an entire suckling pig on special occasions! Drei Schwäne restaurant
Enjoy a generous helping of the Provence at this Zwickau restaurant. Its dark furnishings, terracotta-coloured walls and lovely open-air terrace combine to create a cosy atmosphere. Influences from the Provence and Tuscany shine through strongly in the menu. Specialities include shellfish in vanilla butter with ratatouille, and mousse au chocolat. Great care has been taken when putting together the wine list, which boasts an array of excellent wines from France and Germany, as well as one or two gems from Italy. Villa Esche
Designed by the Belgian artist and architect Henry van de Velde and built in 1903, Villa Esche is now home to a restaurant that spans three floors. You can dine in the former gardener's house on the roof, in the orangerie or on the ground floor, which was once used as a garage. A relatively young team of chefs ensure that the dishes, which are influenced by both regional and international cuisine, are innovative, fresh and last but not least delicious!
