Bad Wurzach is the oldest of the Baden-Württemberg mud spas that treat a whole range of complaints using mud therapies with mud taken from the surrounding moors. Bad Wurzach is also one of the region's newest thermal spas. The fluoride-rich source of sodium and hydrogen carbonate, which is around 12,000 years old, has been used in treatments at the ultra-modern thermal spa since the end of 1996. Treatment is offered for the following complaints: musculo-skeletal illnesses, rheumatic diseases, psychosomatic fatigue, general weakness and convalescence.
