Bremen
Maritime traditions on the Weser River

The Exhibition Centre in this Free Hanseatic City on the Weser River sees itself as a "marketplace for innovation", appropriate for an enlightened trading city with traditions going back 1,200 years. Taking its lead from this slogan, Bremen's Exhibition Centre has recorded strong, steady growth in recent years, not least because of the emphasis placed on service and consultation and the close links forged with politics, culture and life in the city.

Trade fairs/exhibitions

Trade fairs in Bremen also bear the hallmarks of its Hanseatic, maritime traditions: the "fish international" exhibition and the BOATFIT boat show capture the feel of the city, as does the Bremen Classic Motorshow, Bremen's best-known trade fair, where you can find out everything there is to know about classic cars and motorcycles. Other established trade fairs in Bremen include the bike.market.future exhibition and the specialist exhibition "waste to energy". Every year some 45 trade fairs and exhibitions attract 250,000 visitors and over 4,500 exhibitors to Bremen.

Exhibition centres

With 40,000m² of exhibition space Bremen is a medium-sized trade fair with a city centre setting that means you'll never have too far to travel. The exhibition grounds are divided into three main areas: the exhibition halls, the AWD dome and the congress centre. They are also situated in heart of the city, just a stone's throw from hotels, restaurants, parks and the places of interest in the old quarter such as the market square with the renowned Roland statue.
