Art & culture
The municipal art gallery, one of the finest in Bavaria, was built in 1935 through an endowment from Max Bram of Munich. Every year it hosts six exhibitions accompanied by a comprehensive programme of concerts, readings, guided tours and educational activities. The gallery shows contemporary and 19th and 20th century works and focuses on the art of the Rosenheim region and the Munich School.
