Permanent exhibitions
Leipzig's history is told at the Museum of City History in the Old Town Hall. The 27 years J.S. Bach spent in Leipzig are the subject of the museum at the Bach Archive. The Bach Museum has historical instruments that still sound as wonderful as ever. Historical instruments and furniture dating back to the 18th century are on display alongside precious manuscripts, documents, graphic works and printed music.
