There are preserved Roman remains, excavated sites and reconstructions along the Upper-Germanic Rhaetian Limes, the frontier of the Roman Empire, extending approx. 550km from the Koblenz area in Rhineland-Palatinate through Hessen and Baden-Württemberg to the Regensburg region in Bavaria.
