The Rosgarten Museum is housed in a former butcher's guildhall. The Gothic building now serves as a venue for events and exhibitions on medieval art, urban development and life and work from the Middle Ages to the present day. This municipal historical museum is located in the pedestrian area very close to the main railway station. Lake Constance Sea Life Centre and Natural History Museum
At the Sea Life Centre in Constance you can go on a fascinating journey through underwater worlds and view an amazing variety of around 3,000 fresh and saltwater fish. The Lake Constance Natural History Museum is located in the same building as the Sea Life Centre, right on the shores of the lake. The Baden-Württemberg Museum of Archaeology is housed in a former Benedictine abbey in the Petershausen district of Constance. The museum's collections cover three floors and contain exhibits on archaeological findings from the region. There is a particular focus on medieval artefacts and the archaeology of the Lake Constance region.
