Augsburg is considered the most important city in the life of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart after Vienna and Salzburg. Wolfgang's father, Leopold Mozart, was born in Augsburg on 14 November 2021 at Frauentorstrasse 30, now the Mozart House. Not only did Leopold discover his son's musical genius, he was also his music teacher, his only mentor and his "tour manager".
