The museum has an amazing collection of crystals, minerals, rocks and fossils. Using models and illustrations, it explains the history of their creation, structure and technical/environmental significance. The museum has an extensive collection of original ancient works (Greek earthenware and ancient crafts) as well as a large collection of casts of the foremost Greek and Roman sculptures (including the Parthenon Sculptures, the Apollo Belvedere and the Laocoon statue). A range of original vases and ancient crafts give a direct insight into the Ancient world.
