The Museum of Technology houses a number of exhibits that document the social and economic development of the town and surrounding area. The collection focuses on engineering, mining, the iron and steel industry, and agricultural and mill machinery. After its last voyage on the Elbe, the "Württemberg" was permanently anchored off Rotehorn island in 1974. There is an informative exhibition inside the steamship about shipping on the Elbe.
