Bavarian Jazz Weekend
The festival featuring jazz bands from all over Bavaria takes place in the old quarter every year in June/July.

Regensburg "Christkindl Markt" and the Christmas market at Thurn and Taxis Palace
The traditional Regensburg Christkindl Markt and the “Romantic Christmas Market” at Thurn and Taxis Palace are the highlights at the end of every year. The picturesque backdrop lends the Romantic Christmas Market an incomparable atmosphere. Against the impressive palace façade, the courtyard is bathed in an atmospheric glow by the thousands of candles, lanterns and torches.
