40% of Sindelfingen is made up of woods and green spaces. The former Regional Garden Show site in Sommerhofen Park is particularly attractive.

Sommerhofen Park and Klostersee lake
Sommerhofen Park with the idyllic Klostersee lake was designed as a recreation area as part of the Regional Garden Show. A ride on the miniature steam railway that operates in the park between April and October is fun for young and old alike.
