"Steinerne Kemenate": the Luther memorial room, the Great Court Banqueting Hall dating from 1504, the Hunting Room with its marquetry dating from 1632, arts and handicrafts from the Middle Age and Early Modern Time - for example Pietà from 1360, Madonna of Bamberg from 1370, paintings by old German masters from the time of Dürer (some paintings belong to the Georg Schäfer Collection, Schweinfurt), including 26 paintings by Lucas Cranach d. Ä.
Carl-Eduard-Building: an internationally important collection of old glass (Venetian glass, baroque glass), collections of porcelain, faience, tin and more; cabinet of copperplate works and study room: about 350.000 prints from 5.000 masters of old European schools dating from the 15th century till today. (Arrangements for special studies on request).
Herzoginbau ("Duchess's Building"): collection of historical weapons (military and hunting objects on display), ceremonial carriages (the oldest operative coach in Europe), tournament sleighs dating from the 16th of 18th century and modern ceramic pieces.
