Altötting

Altötting, the heart of Bavaria on the Inn River, is a picturesque little town, both liberal-minded and cosmopolitan, young and modern but aware of history and tradition at the same time.

For more than 500 years, visitors have come to see the world-famous early Gothic statue of the Madonna in the pilgrim's chapel, as well as those of the "Silver Prince", Max III Joseph, Holy Brother Conrad von Parzham, and the late Gothic miracle tablets telling of assistance which has truly been granted.
