Christmas Markets


Wolfenbüttel

The Christmas market in Wolfenbüttel is an intimate and enchanting festive tradition that dates back more than 420 years. It takes place in the centre of town on the historical market square, where 1,000 lights shine from the windows of the medieval town hall on fairytale dioramas and more than 50 yuletide stalls. On 1 Dec, don’t miss the living Advent calendar featuring Wölfchen and Büttelchen, the two Christmas mascots named after the town. At the heart of the market is the Polar Dome, where people of all ages can warm up and enjoy a friendly atmosphere. In recent years, Wolfenbüttel has become an insider’s tip for its charming and authentic Christmas market.
