Glittering lights and heavenly music
Würzburg’s Christmas market, one of the prettiest and most atmospheric in Germany, is set against the picturesque backdrop of the market square with Falkenhaus mansion and St. Mary’s Chapel. Browse through authentic, locally made items and enjoy seasonal food and drink in a friendly and traditional atmosphere. An artists’ Christmas market is held at weekends in the town hall courtyard. On 6 & 7 December, journey back to a long-forgotten age at the medieval Christmas market at Marienberg Citadel, which features a Nativity play from the 14th century.
