Christmas Markets


Ingolstadt

Held on Theaterplatz square, Christkindlmarkt in Ingolstadt is quite delightful, with lovingly decorated wooden stalls, narrow little alleyways and wonderful smells of baked apples and glühwein wafting through the air. Local brass bands and trumpeters provide a festive musical accompaniment, while the town’s churches and museums display Nativity scenes spanning a variety of periods and styles.
