Christmas Markets


Duisburg

A dazzling glow as far as the eye can see and the aroma of roasted almonds and seasonal spices: when Christmas comes to Duisburg, the Königstrasse is transformed into a glittering winter wonderland lit up by fairylights, 130 beautifully decorated stalls and an amazing 750 Christmas trees. Every year, Duisburg Christmas market attracts more than two million guests from far and wide. The whole family can enjoy winter fun on the outdoor ice rink, which covers an area of 400 square metres beneath the Kuhtor gate.
