Bad Wimpfen's traditional Christmas market is one of the oldest in the country and has a fantastic medieval atmosphere. The old quarter and Hohenstaufen imperial palace form the backdrop for 160 festive stalls which mainly sell beautiful hand-crafted items, and where your children can meet Father Christmas and the Christmas Angel. Join a tour of discovery through the brightly illuminated old quarter with nightwatchmen and town guides in historical costume. The festive fun is topped off by a whole host of fabulous events, including Christmas concerts and exhibitions. It's an unforgettable experience with so much to discover, either at the lovingly decorated stands or in the shops decked out for the season.
