Christmas markets come in two guises in the UNESCO World Heritage town of Bamberg: the traditional Christmas market and the delightful medieval Christmas market in the authentic setting of Alte Hofhaltung Palace. Follow the popular Bamberg Nativity trail to see around 40 Nativity scenes located throughout the town and at the Christmas market. Every year, visitors from all over Europe come to marvel at these festive displays.
