Baden-Baden

Baden-Baden's enchanting Christkindelsmarkt is held in the famous Lichtentaler Allee park, against the backdrop of the spa assembly rooms which are illuminated by thousands of lights. It is one of the largest and prettiest Christmas markets in the region, with much to see and do, and plenty of places to browse. Around 100 stalls offer imaginative art and craft items, beautiful Christmas decorations and charming Nativity scenes, along with all sorts of culinary treats. At 5pm on 23 November, the Christmas Angel arrives by carriage at the festive stage, which boasts a fresh line-up of entertainment every day. Special attractions for children include a Nativity scene with real farmyard animals, a carousel, a bakery, a postbox for their Christmas wish lists and a stunningly illustrated fairytale trail. The town also has an avenue of stained glass windows with huge, impressive backlit pictures. Baden-Baden is looking forward to your visit.
