The historical Christmas market in Neubrandenburg, famous for its four medieval gates, is the perfect antidote to our fast-paced modern times. There's no shortage of glühwein, Christmas cookies and crafts to enjoy, as well as the fairytale forest, historical railway, old-fashioned carousels and some lively entertainment on stage. Other highlights include an ice rink on the market square and Christmas shopping from 1pm to 6pm on Sunday 28 November and until 10pm on Saturday 18 December. You're sure to find the perfect present browsing through the stalls of the arts and crafts market by Treptow Gate or at the Vierrademühle Mills Christmas market. Children will love the Glöckchenmarkt, which has a programme of entertainment especially for kids.
