Delicious yuletide treats round every corner
There's no better way to enter into the festive spirit than at the Christmas market in Görlitz, surrounded by the baroque and Renaissance architecture of Untermarkt square. More than 100 craftsmen, traders and caterers offer seasonal wares as well as food and drink from Silesia, Saxony, Poland and Bohemia in a brightly lit labyrinth of huts and stalls, with musical accompaniment from choirs and brass bands, a scene to warm anyone's heart.
