Paderborn

This charming Christmas market is held in front of the town's imposing cathedral. Alongside the "street of stars", it features crafts from all over Germany, Paderborn's "Pfarrerskäppchen" pastries, baked apples, "heisse Bäuerin" and "heisser Wilhelm" hot drinks, and a Nativity scene with real animals. There is also a screening of the classic German film "Die Feuerzangenbowle".
