Stralsund

Stralsund, a UNESCO World Heritage town, offers a romantic Advent atmosphere and a sense of Hanseatic tradition. The Christmas market extends from Alter Markt square - with its festive decorations - past the gothic town hall to the historical burgher houses and shops in the pedestrian area. There is a craft market in the huge medieval vaults beneath the town hall, where culinary delights also await.
