Esslingen am Neckar

Take a journey back in time at Esslingen's medieval Christmas market. Market traders in historical costume offer their wares, while entertainment is provided by jugglers, comedians and travelling players with traditional instruments. Torches line the paths, throwing their light onto the magnificent Renaissance town hall and the fine half-timbered buildings. It is one of the largest Christmas markets in southern Germany with more than 160 stalls around the market and town hall squares.
