The Advent market at Bad Iburg Castle opens on Friday 26 November with a choral concert in Bad Iburg/Glane. In this festively decorated historical residence, once occupied by the prince bishops of Osnabrück, the many craft and other stalls extend as far as the labyrinthine courtyards. Accompanied by a fanfare of Christmas trumpets, this medieval experience has everything from silversmiths, woodturners and felters to jesters and a puppet theatre. In the abbey church you can enjoy traditional Christmas carols, and children will love the storytellers.
