St. Wendel

This lovely Christmas market has so much to offer - imaginatively decorated wooden huts, a huge Christmas pyramid and a gnomes' forest, as well as Nativity scenes, a toboggan run and traditional Erzgebirge products. In the medieval craftsmen's lane jugglers, musicians, fire-eaters, and travelling entertainers bring the traditions of previous centuries to life and add a touch of romance and mystery to proceedings. Well worth a visit is the largest Nativity exhibition in Germany with more than 350 exhibits in the Mission House.
