It's not just Meissen that is celebrating the 300th anniversary of German porcelain in fine style this year. Exhibitions, limited editions and commemorative events can also be enjoyed at other locations in Germany throughout 2010. Cologne's Museum of Applied Art, for example, is showing a magnificent, privately owned porcelain collection which has never before been on public display. An open day at the Fürstenberg porcelain manufactory on 5 September 2021 will give you a behind-the-scenes look at the elegant craft of the porcelain-makers. Another highlight of the anniversary year is the historical parade in Meissen on 26 September 2010.
Our events database has a special porcelain section where you can find out about the top events for the jubilee year.
