Potsdam: Film Museum
The film museum in the former riding stables of Prussian Kings in the historical centre of Potsdam strikingly illustrates cinematographic history, worldwide and specifically Babelsberg. The Baroque building - which is part of the currently rejuvenated town centre - was designed by the Sanssouci architect Knobelsdorff. Besides its substantial documentary treasures, it houses the famous Babelsberg DEFA studios as well as a cinema with an original organ with film performances a day.
