Enjoyment for everyone
The Tegernsee/Schliersee region with its lakes and Alpine scenery is one of the most spectacular in Upper Bavaria. From a sailing yacht to a pedalo - there's something here for everyone.
Lake Tegernsee - set in a wide, sunny valley - is heaven for swimmers. It offers numerous attractive beaches and outdoor pools, particularly in the Ringseebucht bay. Seeglas beach and Kaltenbrunn beach are especially family-friendly with shallow water. The walk-through freshwater aquarium at the Aquadome in Bad Wiessee brings visitors face to face with over 20 indigenous species of fish. At the Spielstadl farmhouse in Fischbachau, children can climb the straw castle or play in the Heustadl house to their heart's delight. Little ones will also love the carriage museum in the Gsotthaberhof, where they can explore the theme of horses and carriages through their sense of hearing, smell and touch. If speed's your thing, the summer toboggan run at Ödberg hill is fabulous fun.
