Düsseldorf - Information for wheelchair users on holiday

Düsseldorf council has now published a brochure specifically for wheelchair users. Entitled "Mit dem Rollstuhl unterwegs in Düsseldorf" (getting around Düsseldorf by wheelchair), it provides information about the accessibility of public buildings. In addition to the city's administrative buildings, council offices and departments, it also features transport facilities, public toilets, museums, theatres, opera houses and concert halls.

The brochure also provides details about hotels offering rooms with disabled facilities, public parking for the disabled, and playgrounds with special equipment for the physically handicapped.
