Stuttgart for only $100 a Day

Use Stuttgart's public transportation system all day long by purchasing a 24h-ticket, which makes it easy to get around wherever and whenever you like.

In the Morning...
Travel through Stuttgart on the only urban cog railway in Germany. It connects the districts of Stuttgart South (Marienplatz) and Degerloch wit the TV Tower Stuttgart, which is the world's first TV tower built from concrete. It has become a prototype for many towers of that kind all over the world. From the two observation decks there is a stunning view of Stuttgart, the forests and vineyards in and around Stuttgart and the Black Forest. On clear days even the Alps are visible.

For Lunch...
In Stuttgart you'll find all varieties of snack bars, so grab a snack at one of the numerous places around the main shopping street Koenigsstrasse

In the Afternoon...
Visit the Porsche Museum and get impressed by the entire history of the Porsche Company and its fine cars. The exhibition shows that Porsche designs have had an impact on individual mobility since the early years of motorization. The display area covers 60,278 square feet featuring around 80 exhibits, including many rare cars and a variety of antique models.
As an alternative, car-lovers could also inspect the sensational Mercedes-Benz Museum. On a total area of approx. 182,986 square feet, the Mercedes-Benz Museum shows around 160 vehicles on permanent display, including not only the earliest models but also the latest series production vehicles.

In the Evening...
Swabian and international cuisine at reasonable prices are offered at s' Maexle in Stuttgarts city center. Meet locals and other visitors in a relaxed atmosphere and try some Swabian Cuisine, such as the famous Maultaschen (pasta squares filled with meat and spinach) and Spätzle (small pieces of boiled dough made from flour and eggs, similar to pasta).

At Night...
Make yourself at home in the Ibis Hotel Stuttgart am Löwentor*. Close to the city center it is easy to reach by public transportation. The hotel features a restaurant, a 24 hour bar with a charming outdoor terrace, WiFi internet and a parking garage.
