Euro-scene Leipzig, established in 1991, is one of Europe's top festivals of contemporary theatre. Every year it features 25 performances by some 15 visiting avant-garde and innovational dance and theatre troupes at venues belonging to Leipzig Opera House, Schauspiel Leipzig and fringe companies.
