Shopping

Two global sports and leisure fashion empires were born in this town, which has been a centre of shoemaking since the nineteenth century. These local brands, PUMA and adidas, are now the top destinations among the factory outlets located in Herzogenaurach. After browsing through the outlets on the edge of town you can explore the smaller shops in the historical centre with its traditional Franconian market square and romantic, narrow lanes beneath the shadow of the town towers.

adidas
Famous throughout the world, adidas' three stripes adorn the wall of the company's international headquarters, the "World of Sports". Here, in a factory outlet that feels more like a sports arena, sports and leisure enthusiasts can choose from a comprehensive range of clothing and shoes for all kinds of sports, from aerobics to tennis and volleyball. Overstocks and seconds are also on sale.

PUMA
The leaping puma brand is recognised worldwide as the symbol of sports and leisurewear manufacturer PUMA, based in Herzogenaurach. "Sportlifestyle" stands for shoes, sports and leisure clothing and sporting equipment. A wide variety of all these can be found in the well-designed "outlet herzo" in Zeppelinstrasse, which presents lifestyle-chic on three floors in suitably modern surroundings.
