Schneeberg

A typical Christmas in the Erzgebirge mountains
Decorative candle arches burn brightly from windows across Schneeberg, bathing the town in a festive glow. This magical atmosphere reaches its high point at the Christmas market, which is located in the baroque centre. Musical accompaniment comes courtesy of brass bands, choirs and miners’ ensembles. Enjoy seasonal food and drink and discover how Germany celebrates Christmas. Don’t miss the Festival of Lights and the evening miners’ parade, a glorious occasion featuring music and traditional costumes
