Bad Iburg

The Christmas market at Bad Iburg castle is held on the first weekend of Advent and opens with a grand choral concert. In this festively decorated historical residence once occupied by the prince bishops of Osnabrück, the many craft and other stalls extend as far as the labyrinthine courtyards. Accompanied by a fanfare of Christmas trumpets, this medieval experience has everything from silversmiths, woodturners and felters to jesters and a puppet theatre.
