Since the Wall came down, Berliners love to celebrate New Year's Eve at the Brandenburg Gate, the symbol of the reunited city. The world's largest organised New Year's Eve party is hosting over two kilometres of party fun between the Brandenburg Gate and the Victory Column. The atmosphere is stupendous, with show stages, party tents, light and laser shows, and a mass of food and drink stands. This year around a million people will be welcoming in the New Year at Brandenburg Gate - with a spectacular fireworks show followed by a party with stars and wannabes to the very early hours!
